1st day of school 2012

Deut. 6:5-7 says “Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”

We are homeschooling all 3 kids this year! And we are really excited about it! It's so important to me that our kids are home learning. I want learning to be fun for them. I want the opportunity to hide Gods word in their hearts!







Daxton is our big 1st grader.

We are really excited about this year and can't wait to see how it goes. This year we added All About Reading to our curriculum and Grapevine studies.

Field trip to CM Farms!

Still behind on my blog and kids are STILL sick :(

Here are some pictures of Daxton's field trip to CM Farms. The kids had a good time except for the attack of the bees and the heat but overall a good trip.

Ready or Not

It's time for school to start! Today we are busy getting everything ready for the 1st day of school tomorrow. Yesterday Daxton went to Meet and Greet to check out his new classroom and meet his new teachers. When we first pulled up in the school parking lot Daxton said "Not this place!" lol! But once we got inside he was fine and seemed really comfortable with his new teachers and his new classroom.
