My Superhero
I can't even begin to explain how much I love this sweet boy! He is my heartbeat!
We are having his 6th birthday party in a few weeks and it's going to be a superhero theme :)

Elliot's cake smash
Elliot wasn't so sure about this whole cake smash thing :) She liked the taste of the cake and wanted to eat it but she was afraid to sit by the cake. So she sat safely in mommy's lap to eat her cake. I'm so happy I got a few of her by the cake before she got scared.

Photographer..
You know you're a photographer when...
You pass an old barn and say "ahh that's pretty!"
You always have muddy knees from rolling around in the grass :)
You are up so late editing at night the only people on facebook are either photographers or people who live in Australia
You look at the big goose-egg on your child's head and think "I can clone that out"
Your hubby says "run kids!!" when you reach for the camera.
Instead of cleaning up the mess your child is in the middle of, you grab your camera to capture it...that's when my husband yells at me and says "Really???"
People look at you like you're crazy while you're out shopping because you look ...at a bucket/basket/bowl/etc. and say "I wonder if I could fit a baby in there...."
You're correcting your toddler's technique with his fisher price camera
Every time you go into a store u look for new props
You stop a conversation midway to say "Ahh, now that is a Kodak moment"
You see a pretty empty field on the side of the road and pull over and drag all of your kids out of the car to photograph them in it!! LOL! Just did that one last week :)

It's Independence Day
We brought the kids to watch the fireworks over the lake. Daxton doesn't like fireworks!! He actually cried himself to sleep last night because he kept hearing people pooping them :( BUT last year we brought him to see the fireworks over the lake and he loved it. We parked way across the lake and we were so far away they weren't loud at all but you could still see them well. We told him we were going to see the lightshow :)
We all sat in the back of daddy's truck and enjoyed the light show. They kids loved it. They didn't want to leave once it was over. I think they thought sitting in the back of the truck at night was a pretty neat thing ;)
